‘Do Debate Fact-Checkers Matter? Not So Much’

This article in the National Journal expresses the view that fact-checking organizations have little effect on voters. Worse, that candidates will still misstate as much as they want.

We’re not sure about this. We hope our site and others like it will make a difference for the benefit of voters and the children who are growing up watching adults set a terrible example for them.
